Admission Requirements: Direct entry requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or applicants may qualify as mature students at 19 or older. Conestoga asks for Grade 12 compulsory English at the C or U level (or equivalent), which can also be met through the college's own Preparatory Communications course (COMM1251), plus Grade 12 Mathematics at the C or U level (or equivalent) or Preparatory Mathematics (MATH1420). Canadian citizens and permanent residents holding transcripts from outside Canada must have them assessed course-by-course through a provider such as ICAS or WES. Applicants whose prior instruction was not in English must demonstrate proficiency under Conestoga's institution-wide English language requirements: an IELTS Academic overall band of 6.0 with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 80 with no skill below 20, PTE Academic 53, CAEL 70 (minimum 60 writing, no sub-score below 30), or Duolingo 110, among other accepted tests.
