Admission Requirements: Admission requires a Diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC), or an Attestation d'études collégiales (AEC) plus at least two years of relevant work experience, or completion of the 1st-cycle microprogram in Cyberinvestigation (courses shared with this certificate) with a cumulative average of at least 2.0/4.0. All applicants must also meet Polytechnique Montréal's language requirement for certificate programs: proof of intermediate-advanced French (CEFR B2) at the time of application, shown through an approved French-proficiency test unless exempt. The certificate is offered part-time or full-time, with regular courses in the evening, in class or online, and the prescribed course sequence must be followed. Equivalencies or exemptions may be granted for a required, elective, or free-choice course under the university's standard rules; out-of-program courses are capped at 6 credits and barred once 30 credits are completed. This certificate counts toward the cumulative B.Sc. and toward the cumulative B.Sc. in cybersecurity.
