Overview
This diploma program prepares students for careers in event management across the corporate, hospitality, non-profit, sports, travel, and wedding industries. Students develop skills in event logistics, vendor coordination, budgeting, marketing, and client relations used throughout the planning and delivery of an event. The program is delivered fully online and can be completed in two years of full-time study or four years part-time. Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or mature applicant status, with Grade 12 English (C or U) and Grade 11 Math (C, M or U) as prerequisite courses; applicants who do not meet these requirements may pursue academic upgrading, with a conditional offer available upon proof of enrollment. Graduates are prepared to work as event coordinators and planners for corporate events, conferences, weddings, and community or sporting events. The program code is SEP2.
