Overview
The program provides the technical knowledge and skills required to manage the construction of industrial, commercial, and institutional buildings from the planning stage through to completion. Studies include construction materials and methods, construction equipment, surveying, project management, scheduling, estimating, building economics, and construction contracts. Twelve months of co-operative work experience is an integral part of the program.

Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or admission as a mature applicant, with Grade 12 English (C or U) and Grade 12 Math (C or U), Foundations for College Mathematics (MAP4C) accepted only at a minimum 60% where Advanced Functions/MCT4C is not held. International applicants must present one of: TOEFL iBT overall 4.5 with no band below 4 (79 under the pre-2026 scale); IELTS Academic overall 6.0 with no band below 5.5; CAEL overall 60 with no band below 50; PTE Academic 53 with no band below 45; Cambridge English 169 overall with no skill below 162; or Duolingo overall 105 with no component below 95. Applicants who do not meet the academic standard may instead complete academic upgrading or the Trade Fundamentals preparatory program before applying.
