Requirements
Admission Requirements: Domestic entry requires an OSSD, or equivalent, or mature-applicant status, with Grade 12 English (C or U); applicants short of this may pursue academic upgrading, with a conditional offer possible on proof of enrolment. Grade 11 or 12 Communications Technology, Grade 11 or 12 Visual Arts, Grade 11 or 12 Media Arts, and Grade 12 Business and Technological Communication are recommended, non-mandatory preparation. English proficiency for non-native speakers: a Grade 12 Ontario Secondary School English credit, TOEFL iBT 79 within two years, IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5, CAEL 60 with no band below 50, PTE Academic 53, or Cambridge English (FCE/CAE/CPE) 169, or Fanshawe ESL completion at 80% in Level 8, 75% in Level 9, or 70% in Level 10. All applicants must submit a visual artwork portfolio and written response; when applications exceed available spaces, preference goes to Ontario permanent residents, then to applications received by February 1.
