Overview
This one-year post-grad program is designed for university and college graduates looking for a career in the marketing management sector. The mix of digital marketing courses offered will provide you with a competitive advantage in today’s job market. You'll graduate with superior analytical, decision-making, and communication skills, and be ready for a successful career in sales, marketing research, advertising and promotion, event planning, direct marketing, digital marketing, marketing analytics, promotions management, brand management, public relations, and/or media sales.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission to the Marketing Management graduate certificate requires one of: a two- or three-year college diploma or a degree; an acceptable combination of related work experience and post-secondary education, as judged by Fanshawe; or five years of work experience in the marketing or business field judged equivalent by the College, with a resume and cover letter sometimes required to demonstrate that experience. Applicants whose first language is not English must meet Fanshawe's proficiency standard: IELTS Academic overall 6.5 with no band under 6.0, TOEFL iBT overall 5 with no band under 4.5, PTE Academic 58 with no band under 50, or Duolingo 120 with no section under 105 (CAEL, Cambridge English and LanguageCert Academic equivalents also accepted). Fanshawe recommends proficiency in mathematics, business communication and Microsoft Office as useful preparation, and offers advanced standing based on prior academic achievement or Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR).
