PGCert in Professional Financial Services

This one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate is designed for university and college graduates seeking a career in financial services. The curriculum covers personal financial management, tax and retirement planning, insurance, investment, and estate planning, with an emphasis on client relations skills used when advising individual clients. The program runs 30 weeks and is delivered fully online, with an asynchronous study option available for part-time students. Admission requires a two- or three-year college diploma or a degree, an acceptable combination of related work experience and post-secondary education, or five years of relevant work experience in financial services as judged equivalent by the college; applicants may be asked to submit a resume and cover letter detailing work experience. The program code is FSP1.
