Diploma in Early Childhood Education (Accelerated)

Admission Requirements: This condensed cohort runs September 2026 to December 2027 with no breaks between semesters. Entry requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, with Grade 12 English at the C or U level plus three additional Grade 12 (C, U or M) or Grade 11 (C, U or M) credits. Applicants 19 or older without an OSSD may apply as mature students and sit George Brown's Admissions Assessment for English, or upgrade to obtain the needed credit. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission. Before the mandatory field placement, students must complete Standard First Aid with CPR Level C, a vulnerable-sector police check, and medical clearance; students unable to provide this documentation cannot complete the placement or the program.
