Requirements
Admission Requirements: Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent with Grade 12 English (C or U) at 70 per cent or better, Grade 11 Mathematics (M or U) or Grade 12 Mathematics (C or U) at 60 per cent, Grade 11 Biology (C or U) or Grade 12 Biology (U) at 70 per cent, and Grade 11 Chemistry or Physics (U) or the Grade 12 (C or U) equivalent at 60 per cent. English has to be the course credit itself; a language test is not accepted for this program. Mature applicants aged 19 or over without an OSSD may sit the Admissions Assessment in English, mathematics or biology, or upgrade. Domestic applicants with international transcripts need an ICAS or WES equivalency evaluation. International applicants are warned by the college that Canadian citizenship or permanent status is required in order to work as a denturist in Ontario, and are referred to the College of Denturists of Ontario for the qualifying examination and registration - this is a licensing condition rather than an admission bar. Accepted students complete the program's mandatory pre-placement requirements before clinical work.
