At Heritage College and Seminary in Cambridge, Canada, Master of Theological Studies is offered as a master's degree in Religious Studies programme. The programme is delivered in a hybrid format. Tuition for international students is CAD 435 per credit (CAD 435 per credit for local students).
The Master of Theological Studies at Heritage College and Seminary is a 60-credit-hour graduate degree combining 39 credit hours of required courses with 21 credit hours of electives. Core coursework addresses Old and New Testament theology, two courses in church history, theological foundations, biblical and moral theology, church and ministry theology, and global mission essentials, concluding in a summative project. The program is offered both through on-campus study at Heritage's Cambridge, Ontario location and through a fully online option combining synchronous and asynchronous coursework for students studying at a distance, with full-time or part-time study available. Unlike the seminary's Master of Divinity, the program does not include a pastoral practicum requirement. It suits students pursuing teaching roles, further academic study, ministry-support positions, or informed lay or church leadership who want depth in theological reflection and church history without the practical-ministry component built into the Master of Divinity.

International applicants need TOEFL iBT 80 (20+ per section), IELTS Academic 6.0, or CELPIP-General level 7, plus a WES evaluation, and register for the fall term only; U.S. citizens face no specific English-proficiency requirement.
Application Details
Application Deadline:Heritage College and Seminary sets the same domestic application cut-offs for both its College and Seminary programmes across three intakes: Fall (September start) applications are due no later than 1 September, Winter (January start) no later than 15 December, and Spring/Summer (May start) no later than 15 March; applying earlier reduces the application fee (from $200 down to $50 the further ahead an applicant applies), so admission is effectively rolling with an escalating late fee up to each hard cut-off. International applicants, who are advised to begin in the Fall, must complete their application by 31 March for a Fall start or by 31 July for a Winter start; no international deadline or intake is published for Spring/Summer entry. Heritage applies directly rather than through a third-party service, and none of these recurring dates carries an explicit admission year on the site. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
