At Humber College in Toronto, Canada, Honours Bachelor of Computer Science in Cybersecurity is offered as a honours degree in Cyber Security programme. The programme runs for 4 years. Tuition for international students is CAD 24,096 per year (CAD 7,931 per year for local students).
The Honours Bachelor of Computer Science - Cybersecurity is an eight-semester honours degree at Humber Polytechnic that prepares students to design and manage cybersecurity defences while integrating artificial intelligence techniques into that work. Core courses cover cybersecurity fundamentals, data networks, discrete mathematics and linear algebra, cryptography, network programming, operating systems, database security, secure software development, ethical hacking, cloud-security foundations, machine learning, and governance and ethics frameworks. Learning is built around labs, case studies, simulations and applied projects, and the program includes a mandatory co-operative education component of three consecutive paid work terms, followed by a two-semester, industry-connected capstone project completed in partnership with outside organizations. The curriculum was developed with input from industry partners and is positioned as one of few programs to combine cybersecurity study directly with applied AI. It suits students with an interest in computing and security who want hands-on, co-op-based experience and are aiming for careers such as security analyst, penetration tester or security engineer, defending organizational systems and data against evolving digital threats.
