The Network Security Post Diploma Certificate provides the skills and knowledge required for a career in network security. The one-year, two-term program introduces networking architecture, structure, functions, components, and models of the Internet and other computer networks, along with the fundamentals of computer hardware, software, and operating-system administration. Students learn to implement network security solutions, apply best practices and strategies to protect business resources, and respond to vulnerabilities and exploits. An optional third term includes an introductory professional integration project. The program is intended for students who already hold a post-secondary diploma in a related field.
