Langara English for Academic Purposes Certificate

Langara English for Academic Purposes (LEAP) is being wound down: the college has stopped accepting new applications, and its final semester runs in May 2026. While active, the certificate ran full-time and in person over a minimum of seven weeks per level, with intakes each January, May, and September, and functioned as Langara's academic-English preparation track for students who needed additional language support before moving into English-medium credit coursework. Students with questions about the program's wind-down or about alternative English pathways at Langara are directed to contact the LEAP program office directly rather than apply through the normal admissions process.
