Criminal Justice - Bachelor of

The Bachelor of Criminal Justice is a four-year degree at Lethbridge Polytechnic combining classroom theory, work-integrated learning, and applied research. Students complete 300 hours of work-integrated learning with justice or human services organizations and develop skills in critical thinking, conflict resolution, ethical decision-making, and research. The program is offered on-campus, with lectures, labs, and hands-on training at the main Lethbridge Polytechnic campus, as well as an online asynchronous option. Post-diploma entry is available for graduates of approved Criminal Justice diplomas. Graduates receive the Bachelor of Criminal Justice (BCJ) degree and are prepared for careers in the justice sector, including policing and corrections, or for further graduate study. On-campus and online sections begin each September, with additional online-only intakes in January and May.
