Admission Requirements: Applicants must meet Lethbridge Polytechnic's general admission requirements for polytechnic programs (a Canadian high school diploma including English 30-1 or 30-2, or an approved alternative route). From the 2027-2028 intake the program also requires English 30-1 or 30-2, Math 20-1 or 20-2, and Social Studies 30-1 or 30-2 (or equivalents) directly, and asks all applicants to demonstrate English language proficiency. Applicants must also confirm through a medical examination that their cardiovascular system is suitable for fitness-related exercise required in the field. For non-native English speakers, the institution's general benchmarks apply: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band below 6.0, TOEFL iBT 80, PTE Academic 54, CAEL 60 overall (60 in Writing, 50 in all other bands), or Duolingo English Test 110.
