Agriculture Science - Bachelor of (Post-Diploma)

The Bachelor of Agriculture Science (Post-Diploma) is a two-year degree completion program at Lethbridge Polytechnic covering Years 3 and 4 of the Bachelor of Agriculture Science curriculum, totaling 120 credits. It builds on prior diploma study in plant and soil science fundamentals and precision agriculture techniques, with lab and field work in plant physiology, soil fertility, crop production, and integrated pest management. The program is delivered in a blended format combining on-campus, face-to-face instruction with online delivery in both synchronous and asynchronous formats. Graduates receive the Bachelor of Agriculture Science (BAgSc) degree and are prepared for the workplace or graduate studies. The program shares its Year 3 and Year 4 coursework with the direct-entry Bachelor of Agriculture Science, covering the same plant physiology, soil fertility, crop production, and pest management content. The program begins each September at the main Lethbridge Polytechnic campus.
