Nursing After Degree - Bachelor of

The Bachelor of Nursing - After Degree is an accelerated 24-month program at Lethbridge Polytechnic for students who already hold a previous degree, regardless of discipline or field of study. It prepares graduates to write the NCLEX-RN exam and begin practice as a Registered Nurse. The program spans six terms across two institutions: the first two semesters at Lethbridge Polytechnic, including immersive learning in the Simulation Hub, one of only four centres in Canada accredited by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, followed by the remaining terms at the University of Lethbridge. The Lethbridge Polytechnic portion is delivered face-to-face at the main campus, with lectures, labs, and hands-on clinical training. The compressed timeline suits students who already hold a bachelor's degree in another field and want to transition into nursing without repeating a full four-year program. The program begins each September.
