Architectural Animation Technology is a two-year, 63-credit diploma covering technical drafting, 3D modelling, digital drawing and rendering, animation, and texturing for visualizing buildings before construction. The program runs across four terms and builds skills used to create walkthrough and promotional visualizations of architectural and construction projects. Lecture instruction takes place in a digital environment, while labs are split between face-to-face and online learning cohorts. It is offered at Lethbridge Polytechnic to both domestic and international students. Intakes run in September. Graduates who complete a dual-diploma option with a minimum GPA of 2.00 are eligible for an additional credential pathway.
