Admission Requirements: Domestic admission requires an OSSD/OSSGD with courses at the general, advanced, (C), (U) or (M) level, including Grade 12 English at the (C) level or equivalent with a grade of 65% or higher, Grade 12 Mathematics at 65% or higher, and Grade 11 or 12 Biology and Chemistry each at 65% or higher, or admission as a mature applicant. The programme page states its own language standard for non-native English speakers: an IELTS score of 7.0 or equivalent, higher than Loyalist's general Certificate/Diploma minimum. Before field placement, students must complete Standard First Aid and CPR-HCP certification, a Vulnerable Sector Check through their police service of residence, up-to-date immunization records and laboratory blood tests, and a respiratory mask fit certificate; international students additionally need a co-op work permit before placement.
