Students may remain undeclared or pursue one of four minors: Music Career Management, Music Education, Music Technology and Production, or Songwriting, with the latter two admitted competitively. The program emphasizes jazz and contemporary popular music and aims to build the skills and credentials needed for a career as a performer, creator, or leader within the music industry. It is a four-year, on-campus degree; students may exit with a diploma credential after completing the second year. Admission requires an audition alongside the standard MacEwan University entrance requirements and English language proficiency documentation.
