Trades - Apprenticeship in Industrial Electrician Apprenticeship

The Industrial Electrician Apprenticeship trains registered apprentices to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems used in industrial environments. In-school instruction totals 1,050 hours of college training delivered at Niagara College's Welland campus, combined with paid on-the-job training completed with a sponsoring employer. The apprenticeship has an overall delivery length of 4 years and leads to a Certificate of Apprenticeship upon completion of all four levels. Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or Grade 12 equivalency, employment in the trade under a registered training agreement, and applicants must be at least 16 years old with legal permission to work in Canada. New apprentices can begin their in-school training in the Fall term.
