Denturist Technology is a three-year diploma program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology that equips students to assess, design, fabricate and insert complete and partial dentures. The program combines two years of classroom and technical training with a one-year clinical practicum delivered in NAIT's Dental Clinic, which has nine dedicated treatment rooms. Graduates become eligible to challenge provincial licensing exams and may go on to open their own practice or join an existing one. It is delivered in person on NAIT's main campus with a Fall intake. Applicants who meet minimum entrance requirements and submit all required documents are invited to a program interview, with admission based on interview scores; the first round is expected in early October. Students must meet health requirements related to skin conditions and mobility, hold current CPR-C/Basic Life Support certification before entering the program, and submit immunization records before any clinical placement.
