Cybersecurity is a two-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate delivered over four semesters at Northern College's Timmins campus. The program combines technical training in ethical hacking, network security, incident response, digital forensics, and cloud security with leadership-focused coursework in risk analysis, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity law and ethics. Students complete a co-operative education work term that provides applied experience in a security operations context. The curriculum is structured to support preparation for industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+ and PenTest+, (ISC)² SSCP, and EC-Council's Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). Graduates are prepared for roles protecting organizational networks, systems, and data against evolving cyber threats. The program builds on a prior credential in information technology or computer studies and is delivered on-campus.
