This post-degree diploma is designed for students who already hold a minimum three-year degree in business, computer science, information technology, or a related field, and builds on that background with a comprehensive understanding of the role of information technology within the financial process. Coursework equips graduates to integrate information technology principles with financial oversight, implement data safeguards, and apply risk management practices within organizations. The program totals a minimum of 61 credits (915 hours) and can typically be completed in four semesters, depending on a student's start date and academic progress; a fifth semester may be required if study spans the May-June intersession. It is offered at the Dawson Creek and Fort St. John campuses, with Fall, Winter, and Spring intakes available in both full-time and part-time formats. Admission requires the underlying degree plus proof of English proficiency, or completion of upgrading coursework for applicants admitted on a combination of education and experience.
