Interdisciplinary Arts is a four-year, self-curated Bachelor of Fine Arts program at NSCAD University that lets students combine traditional, tactile practices with experimental media and design methods. After a shared Foundation year introducing all NSCAD disciplines, students draw coursework from across the university's specializations, from expanded media to textiles, rather than following a single discipline track. The program is designed for students who want to build a personal, cross-disciplinary practice supported by theory, history, and studio work from multiple areas. It is offered across NSCAD's Academy, Fountain, and Port campuses, with delivery on-campus. Graduates leave with a broad set of artistic skills and approaches suited to careers or further study across contemporary art, design, and related creative fields, having shaped their own course of study.
