Overview
The Master of Engineering Management (MEngM) at Ontario Tech University prepares students to plan, allocate resources for, and direct and control activities with an engineering or technological component. Coursework covers engineering project management, production planning and operations management, energy systems management, mathematical modelling and optimization, quality control, health and safety, and applied risk analysis. The standard length of the program is 16 months of full-time study, with September or January start dates. Admission requires a four-year honours undergraduate engineering degree from an accredited program at a Canadian university, or its equivalent, along with a minimum B academic average maintained over the last two full-time years of undergraduate work. Graduates are prepared for management and leadership roles in engineering and technology-driven organizations, applying skills in planning, resource allocation and risk management across technical projects.

Admission Requirements: Hold a four-year honours undergraduate engineering degree in a relevant field from an accredited engineering program at a Canadian university, or its equivalent from a recognized institution. Minimum overall academic standing of a B (GPA: 3.0 on a 4.3 scale, or 73 to 76 per cent), with a minimum B in the last two full-time years (four semesters) of undergraduate work or equivalent.
