The Bachelor of Construction Management (BCM) is a bachelor's degree that prepares graduates from related engineering technology diplomas, Red Seal Carpentry certification, or accredited engineering, urban planning or architecture programs, to lead construction projects. Coursework covers project planning, scheduling, cost estimating, budgeting, contract administration, risk management, and safety, building on technical knowledge from students' prior credential. The degree portion runs 76 weeks, structured as a third year (two semesters plus a work term) and a fourth year (two further semesters), following completion of an eligible diploma or trade certification. Courses are delivered in the evening, combining in-person classes with limited online coursework, and can be taken full-time or part-time, letting students continue working while completing the degree. The program admits students for a September start.
