Overview
This Advanced Certificate program develops and strengthens the instructional and leadership skills of new and experienced faculty. It consists of eight courses totalling 24 credit hours, blending theoretical and practical aspects of teaching and learning and delivered through a mix of online and face-to-face formats. Courses can be taken individually on a part-time basis, and participants have opportunities for mentoring, networking, and scholarship in teaching and learning. The program is mandatory for new Saskatchewan Polytechnic faculty in ongoing full-time or part-time positions, or combined appointments equivalent to 0.5 FTE or greater, who are automatically enrolled as part of the Faculty Certificate Program. It is also open to other interested members of the public. The program is available through the Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, Regina, and Saskatoon campuses, with graduation applications processed through the Prince Albert campus. Completion recognizes an educator's growth in course design, delivery, and reflective teaching practice within a polytechnic and adult-learning context.

Admission Requirements: The program is mandatory for new Saskatchewan Polytechnic faculty in ongoing full-time positions, ongoing part-time positions, or combined ongoing appointments equivalent to 0.5 FTE or greater, who are automatically enrolled through the Faculty Certificate Program.
