Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology is a 97-week advanced diploma at Saskatchewan Polytechnic that trains students to perform laboratory tests, general radiography, and electrocardiograms. Instruction combines traditional lectures, web-assisted learning, practical labs in Saskatoon, and clinical practicums at approved sites throughout Saskatchewan. The program begins each January. Graduates are prepared for combined laboratory and X-ray technologist roles supporting diagnostic testing in clinical settings. Admission requires Grade 12 with a minimum grade of 70% in a 30-level English Language Arts, Foundations of Mathematics 30, Pre-Calculus 30, or Calculus 30, plus Chemistry 30 and Biology 30, along with Saskatchewan Polytechnic's English Language Requirement. The program is not currently open to international applicants.
