The programme applies Saskatchewan Polytechnic's institution-wide English Language Requirement: IELTS Academic overall 6.5 with 5.0 per band, TOEFL iBT 81 overall with 19 per skill, PTE Academic 63 overall with 50 per component, Duolingo English Test 110, or CAEL 60 overall with 50 per component. Accepted applicants must provide evidence of current WHMIS GHS certification within the first month of the program and must obtain a 4th Class Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan certificate and license before starting Year 2 lab courses. Admission for the FQFA programs is effectively rolling; the Competitive programs are not. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
