PGCert in Financial Services

This post-graduate certificate prepares degree holders for careers in the financial services sector, building theoretical and technical knowledge through case studies, simulations, and role plays. Coursework prepares students for the Investment Funds in Canada compliance exams and develops client relationship and advisory skills. The program runs 32 weeks over one year and is offered at Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, and Saskatoon. January intakes run at Moose Jaw and Saskatoon; September intakes run at Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, and Saskatoon. Admission requires an earned bachelor's degree from a recognized university, together with Saskatchewan Polytechnic's English Language Requirement. Students are admitted through the First Qualified/First Admitted process, with applications opening each September 1. Graduates are prepared for client-facing roles within Saskatchewan's financial services sector, including investment funds and advisory positions.
