Selkirk College is endorsed by Skilled Trades BC to deliver all four levels of Construction Electrical Apprenticeship Technical Training as well as levels 1, 2 and 3 of Industrial Electrical Apprenticeship Technical Training to registered electrical apprentices. Each level of training consists of a full-time, ten-week, on-campus program of study. Activities include classroom sessions whereas an apprentice you will learn theoretical principals of electricity and applied concepts of the Canadian Electrical Code. Laboratory sessions help to reinforce electrical concepts covered by the theory classroom component.

The Practical Nursing Diploma provides a learning experience that is integrated, professional, collaborative and culturally sensitive with an aim to prepare graduates to care for individuals (and, by extension, families of individuals) at multiple life stages and in a variety of practice settings. The Provincial Practical Nursing Program (PPNP) is designed to provide learners with the knowledge, skills, judgements and attitudes to perform to the full range of competencies as identified by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
