Overview
The micro-certificate is built from three stackable micro-courses, each providing 35 to 45 hours of training across four weeks, combining roughly seven to eight hours a week of self-paced study with extra time spent sharpening drone-flying skills and working on team communication out in the field. Taken together, the courses lead to the Drone Technologies: Complex Operations award, a Certificate of Completion covering 125 hours in total, made up of 90 hours of instruction plus 35 more hours spent on field training, spread across three months. Learners do not need to supply their own drone, since drones are provided during field exercises.
