Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or the equivalent, or eligibility as a mature applicant; no further Grade 12 subject prerequisite is named. Because this program is itself an English-for-academic-purposes bridge, entry is set by current English level rather than a single cut-off test: applicants qualify with LINC/ESL completion at Level 4 or higher, a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 5 or higher, completion of Seneca's own ELI Level 4 (or an ELI placement result for direct entry at Level 5 or above), an IELTS score of at least 4.0 in every band, a TOEFL iBT overall score of at least 40 with Speaking and Writing no lower than 12, a PTE score of at least 36, or a Duolingo English Test score of at least 63; completing Seneca's part-time Writing Skills course (ESL931) or an ELL100 placement into EAP130 or higher also qualifies.
