Overview
This three-year advanced diploma program will prepare you with the knowledge and skills necessary to create effective design solutions for interactive, print and experiential design projects. Fundamental principles and skills training, followed by immersive cross disciplinary learning, culminate with a graduate showcase portfolio and the opportunity to participate in a field placement. This program will prepare you to work as a designer in the communications industry.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission is open to holders of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or the equivalent, or to mature applicants; the only named subject prerequisite is English at the Grade 12 C or U level, or an equivalent course, with Seneca upgrading available to applicants who do not yet meet it. Canadian citizens and permanent residents short of the English prerequisite may instead pass Seneca's own pre-admission test. No portfolio, audition, interview, or minimum-average condition is stated on this program's admission-requirements page, despite the program being design-focused.
