Overview
The Reciprocity Mural is a floor-to-ceiling art display spanning seven walls at Seneca’s Newnham Campus Cafeteria. Under the artistic direction of JoAnn Purcell, Program Co-ordinator of the Illustration program, and Martha Newbigging, Program Co-ordinator of the Art Fundamentals program, a team of five artists — all Seneca graduates — took on the task of seeing the project through from conceptualization to completion.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission is open to holders of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or the equivalent, or to mature applicants, with English at the Grade 12 C or U level, or an equivalent course, as the named subject prerequisite; Canadian citizens and permanent residents short of it may instead pass Seneca's own pre-admission test, and upgrading is available for other gaps. On top of the academic requirement, applicants must submit a portfolio of five pieces: a full-body life drawing, an observational hand drawing, an everyday-object drawing, a two-point-perspective room interior, and one piece showing the applicant's own interests and skills.
