At Sheridan College in Oakville, Canada, Game Engineering, Honours Bachelor of Computer Science is offered as a bachelor's degree in Digital Media & Game Development programme. The programme runs for 4 years, delivered on campus. Teaching is in English. Tuition for international students is CAD 23,010 per year (CAD 8,488 per year for local students).
This degree includes a game engineering specialization among its computer science tracks, following a first year that introduces programming, networks, mathematics, scripting, database modelling and each specialization option. Game engineering students then take eight courses specific to that field, in a curriculum where core courses form more than 80 percent of the content. Between the third and fourth years, students can take on a four-month internship, a paid co-op placement of up to sixteen months, or support for applied research projects. The degree concludes in the fourth year with a choice between a capstone project, possibly involving an external client, and a thesis aimed at future graduate study. Because of shared core courses with the Mobile Computing specialization, switching between the two after two years requires only two additional courses, and the degree carries recognition for graduate admission in Canada and abroad.

Application Details
Start Date:September
Application Deadline:Domestic applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca: for programmes starting in Fall 2027 the application opened 26 September 2026, the equal-consideration date is 1 February 2027, and offers can go out from 1 November 2026, with portfolio- and audition-based programmes deciding later in March; accepted offers must be confirmed by 1 May 2027. Winter and Spring/Summer 2027 entry use the same portal but Sheridan publishes no fixed equal-consideration date for them and reviews those on an ongoing basis. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
