This graduate certificate develops skills in business process improvement and operational efficiency across two academic semesters, followed by a co-op work term. Coursework covers business-process analysis and design, integration of new technologies into existing operations, financial analysis for building business cases, and use of SAP enterprise resource-planning software. Students learn to identify inefficiencies in organisational processes, propose and justify improvements, and support technology adoption within a business. The programme suits graduates of business, information-systems or related postsecondary programmes who want to specialise in process improvement, as well as candidates with relevant work experience. Applied coursework and case-based projects build practical analysis and process-design skills used by business analysts. Graduates are prepared for roles such as business analyst, process-improvement coordinator and ERP support specialist in organisations that use SAP systems.
