Program details

Overview

This is the French-language stream of SFU's Educational Practice master's, run through the Office of Francophone and Francophile Affairs for teachers and other educators already working in French-language and French-immersion settings. The cohort takes seven five-unit courses plus a comprehensive exam and an applied fieldwork piece, all delivered fully online with one or two synchronous or asynchronous sessions per week, and is designed to be completed over six consecutive terms across two years. Course content centres on bilingualism and plurilingualism, intercultural and minority-language education, and literacy, aimed at classroom teachers, school administrators and community-facing francophone professionals rather than only Faculty of Education students.
