Le PDP – module français permet d’obtenir une formation adaptée au contexte spécifique de l’enseignement en français dans la province. Vous serez ainsi prêt·e à enseigner, selon vos intérêts, le français ou à enseigner une autre matière en français.
En choisissant le module français de SFU, vous aurez aussi accès à des bourses et des prix exclusifs. Vous aurez des occasions uniques de développer votre réseau de contacts et de ressources au sein de la communauté francophone et de joindre la communauté J’enseigne en français.

Admission Requirements: Elementary-stream applicants need at least 90 completed university credits at the time of application and a minimum cumulative average of 2.5, with a full bachelor's degree required before the program starts; secondary-stream applicants need a completed bachelor's degree of at least 120 credits. Elementary candidates must also complete, at least one term before the program begins, one Canadian history course, one Canadian geography course, one lab-science course, and SFU's MATH 190 or its equivalent; secondary candidates need two English or French courses (minimum 6 credits, including 3 in literature). All applicants must meet SFU's general undergraduate admission requirements and its English-language literacy standard, and must submit proof of French-language proficiency; SFU's related requirements page sets DELF B1 for elementary Core French placements and DALF C1 for Immersion or Francophone secondary placements, each needing 50% overall with a per-component minimum. A Vulnerable Sector criminal-record check is required after admission.

Application Deadline:Domestic applicants apply through EducationPlannerBC, with one set of dates per applicant type rather than by citizenship. Fall 2027 entry: high-school-route applications open 1 October 2026 and close 31 January 2027, while transfer applications open 1 March 2027 and close 15 April 2027 (Education and Contemporary Arts transfer applicants may apply from 1 October 2026). Spring 2027 entry runs 1 July to 15 September 2026, and Summer 2027 entry runs 1 December 2026 to 15 January 2027. Admission documents are generally due 28 February 2027 (Fall) and offers must be accepted by 1 May. International applicants use the same EducationPlannerBC dates and portal; SFU publishes no separate international deadline. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
