Overview
Increasingly, individuals and organizations look to computers, be they stand-alone or networked, to optimize workflow, establish a presence in global markets, improve communication, and just generally improve productivity. Graduates of Computer Programming Programs have honed their abilities, acquiring the expertise to develop, test, and deploy program code. As such, graduates are able to work individually or as part of a team to gather requirements and support the recommendations for the improvement or automation of organizational workflow that corresponds to the day-to-day requirements of individuals and organizations.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma with the majority of credits at the College (C), University (U), University/College (M) or Open (O) level. Mature applicants without an OSSD may qualify through St. Clair College's mature-student route on the general admission-procedures page. The main Windsor offering (T850) admits in September, January and May; the Chatham offering (K851) is currently closed. Domestic applicants apply through Ontario Colleges and international applicants through International OCAS. The programme page does not publish its own English-proficiency scores; St. Clair's institution-wide standard for diploma and certificate programmes applies to international applicants: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall, TOEFL iBT 60 overall, PTE Academic 52, CAEL 60, or Duolingo English Test 110.
