Overview

This Bachelor of Science (Honours) program combines theoretical mathematics with applications across fields such as technology, disease research, and cryptology. Coursework covers core mathematical theory alongside optional specializations in Computer Science, Economics, or Management Sciences, letting students tailor the degree toward a secondary area of interest. Admission Requirements: Direct entry requires the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with six Grade 12 U or M courses including English (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred), Advanced Functions (MHF4U), and one of Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U) or Mathematics of Data Management (MDM4U), each at a minimum of 70%, plus Physics (SPH4U, recommended), Chemistry (SCH4U), or Biology (SBI4U); an overall average of at least 70% is required for consideration and admitting averages fluctuate year to year with application volume.
