Program details
Overview
Non-Profit Organizational Leadership is a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) concentration within Tyndale Seminary's Leadership Track, focused on organizational leadership for non-profit Christian organizations across sectors such as international development, missions, denominational and para-church work. The program covers principles of effective organizational and foundational leadership theory, cultural, sociological and psychological dynamics, and core disciplines including strategic planning, governance, finance and development. It comprises 12 courses completed over three years, delivered through a cohort model combining distance learning with annual residency phases. Students complete three major projects and finish with an integrated research portfolio. Holders of an existing Doctor of Ministry may instead pursue a Post-DMin Certificate in Non-Profit Organizational Leadership, consisting of three courses over three years.
