The Master of Divinity in Christian History is a 27-course, three-year seminary program offered at Tyndale University's Seminary in Toronto. Students pursuing the concentration study Christianity's historical engagement with culture, society, and politics, both locally and globally, alongside the general Master of Divinity curriculum in biblical studies, theology, and ministry preparation. Coursework allows students to focus on areas such as early Christianity, Canadian and Indigenous Christianity, and the traditions, denominations, and inter-religious relations of the Christian church, developing capacity for historical analysis and critical thinking. The concentration is also available as a one-year, nine-course Graduate Diploma or a two-year, eighteen-course Master of Theological Studies. An internship is a standard requirement of the Master of Divinity credential. The program is delivered through Tyndale Seminary's Toronto campus.
