This 30-credit certificate in Neo-Hellenic Studies is multidisciplinary and trilingual, delivered in French, English, and Greek, and examines modern Greek language, literature, history, and civilization. The curriculum combines language instruction with courses on Greek culture and society, preparing graduates for work in teaching, research, translation, or community services connected to Greek studies and the Greek-Quebec community. Courses are offered during the day and in the evening at the Montreal campus, and the programme offers the possibility of an international study stay in Greece for eligible students. It is delivered by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and, when open, has unlimited capacity beyond the stated academic and language requirements. Admissions to this certificate are currently suspended, and new applications cannot be submitted.
