This postgraduate diploma sits at the intersection of emerging technologies and artistic practice, for students whose interests span music and sound art, cinema, video art, graphic design, theatre, or creative writing and who wish to specialize in technological and digital arts. The 30-credit programme follows a non-thesis pathway or a directed-work pathway, runs full-time or part-time with daytime courses at the Montreal campus, and offers optional internships; full-time completion takes a minimum of two trimesters, with up to twelve trimesters (four years) allowed. Coursework builds technical and creative skills for producing technologically mediated art works, culminating in a directed project or non-thesis completion depending on the pathway chosen. Graduates are prepared for creative and technical roles in digital and technological arts practice, production, and related creative-industry settings.
