Université de Saint-Boniface's Baccalauréat en sciences infirmières is a four-year, 120-credit nursing degree delivered in person with a fall start, preparing graduates for bilingual work as a Registered Nurse in Manitoba and elsewhere. Courses are taught in French with English terminology integrated throughout, preparing students to practise in bilingual or English-language healthcare settings, and take place in a modern building with laboratories and a simulation centre built to replicate hospital rooms. The program includes nine mandatory practicums, together totalling close to 1,500 hours of clinical experience, and prepares students to sit the registration examination of the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba as well as to pursue further studies in nursing. Graduates can work in direct patient care, health promotion, administration, research, or teaching, across hospitals, community organizations, and public health services. The program responds to Manitoba's stated need for bilingual nurses and suits students who want a hands-on, clinically intensive route into registered nursing practice while working and studying in French, with the ability to also operate professionally in English.

Admission Requirements: Canadian-educated applicants need a Manitoba high school diploma (or an accepted equivalent from another province) and an adjusted minimum average of 70% across five Grade 12 (40S) courses: Francais 40S at 60%, Anglais 40S at 60%, Mathematiques (Appliquees or Precalcul) 40S at 60%, Biologie 30S at 65%, and Biologie 40S or Chimie 40S at 65%. International applicants need an equivalent secondary diploma with the same 70% average, completed science, mathematics and French courses in their final year, and must meet both the French and English language requirements. The English requirement accepts IELTS Academic with listening 7.0, speaking 7.0, reading 6.5 and writing 6.5, three years of Canadian English-medium schooling, an Advanced Placement or IB English score of 4 or higher, or an exemption for applicants from designated English-speaking countries. Every offer is conditional on proof of vaccination, a criminal-record check and first-aid training.
