This interdisciplinary bachelor's degree in geography addresses the sustainable planning and management of territories, combining human and physical geography perspectives across local to global scales. The 90-credit program trains students to describe geographic phenomena, understand their underlying dynamics, and produce diagnostics and action plans for territorial issues. Coursework spans both social and environmental dimensions of geography, preparing graduates for roles in urban and regional planning, environmental management, and related fields. The curriculum draws on cartography, geographic information systems, and field-based research methods to analyze spatial and environmental issues at municipal, regional, and international scales. The program is delivered on campus at UQAC's Saguenay location and admits students in the fall and winter terms. It is open to international applicants studying full-time, and both full-time and part-time study regimes are available to eligible applicants.
