This certificate in Administration at Universite du Quebec a Chicoutimi is a 30-credit first-cycle programme that develops general management knowledge and skills for students already active in, or seeking access to, administrative roles. Coursework builds competency across the main administrative functions, introduces basic management techniques, and examines how economic mechanisms affect organizational decision-making, while accounting for the human factors involved in any organization. The programme is delivered on campus in Chicoutimi and admits students in the fall, winter, and summer terms, with full-time and part-time study both available. It suits candidates coming directly from CEGEP, students transferring university credits from another programme, and working professionals with relevant management experience who do not hold the standard academic prerequisites. As a certificate, it can stand alone or be combined with two other 30-credit certificates toward a Bachelor of Business Administration.
