This 30-credit certificate prepares practitioners to conduct educational interventions with children, families, and individuals facing socio-affective difficulties or disabilities, offered part-time at the Montreal campus with fall and winter admission; courses run in the evening from Monday to Friday over 15 weeks or in daytime weekend sessions across six meetings. Five mandatory courses (18 credits) cover intervention planning, parental educational roles, community education, lifelong learning concepts, and a supervised six-credit practicum, together with one elective from four options (3 credits) and 9 credits chosen from 21 optional courses across four thematic blocks. The programme emphasizes situational pedagogy and culminates in a two-trimester practicum, for which students need 18 completed credits including three specific foundational courses and a minimum average of 2.0/4.3.
